September 2005, the DodgeCoronetRT.com site is a spin-off of the
main 440magnum Mopar Enthusiast Network site. The site was built to
offer owners and enthusiasts resources dedicated to the 1967 - 1970
Coronet R/T musclecar produced by the Dodge division of Chrysler.
Our site offers owners a place to show off these cool and rare
automobiles. The site also offer visitors a place to check out what
a real Dodge factory muscle car once was. Resources include the
internets largest collection of featured Dodge Coronet R/T's,
Gallery, Information, Production numbers, Screensavers,
Specifications, Wallpaper and more.
Introduced in 1967,
the Coronet R/T (stands for Road/Track) was a mid-sized muscle car
produced by the Dodge division of Chrysler. Under the hood the R/T
featured a new 440 magnum four barrel v8 rated at 375 bhp as
standard equipment., the legendary 426 HEMI was optional. Buyers
were offered a TorqueFlite automatic as standard equipment and a
four-speed manual was optional. The Coronet R/T 2 door hardtop
was offered at $3,199.00 and a R/T convertible at $3,438.00.
The R/T offered buyers a list of standard performance stuff like
7.75x14 red stripe tires, heavy-duty shocks, heavy-duty
torsion bars, heavy-duty leaf springs, larger brakes, front sway bar

musclecar image the Coronet R/T featured a non-functional hood
scoop, R/T badging, and bucket seats. The Dodge Coronet R/T was
